Website Care: Kept Updated, Backed Up, and Watched

Your website is software, and software that nobody updates is how sites get broken into. Care Plans keep yours current, backed up and watched — and when you need a change, you text the person who built it.

Sound familiar?

The problems this solves

The contractor whose site quietly went down on a Friday and nobody noticed until a customer mentioned it Monday
The owner who emailed a "quick change" to a support desk three weeks ago and is still waiting
The business that lost years of work because the only backup was on the old web guy's laptop
What it is

Done for you, start to finish

Website Care is the monthly upkeep most owners never think about until something breaks. We keep WordPress, the theme and every plugin updated, take regular backups, watch the site so we hear about problems before your customers do, and handle the edits you don't want to do yourself.

What's included

WordPress, theme and plugin updates, tested before they go live
Regular backups stored off the site, with restores handled for you
Monitoring, so problems get caught by us instead of your customers
Your content edits and small changes done for you — text, photos, hours, pages
One person who knows your site and your business answering when you call
Plugs straight into the rest of the MCM360 engine when you are ready for more
Who it's for

Is this you?

Owners who want their website to just work — and would rather spend their evenings on the business than on plugin updates.

The difference

Why owners switch to MCM

Most marketing companies sell you tools and a monthly invoice. With MCM the work gets done for you, the software is included, and you see proof every week.

The typical agency MCM Digital Products
How you reach them A support ticket, a general inbox, or whoever has your file this month Michael directly — his personal cell, text, direct email, and a clients-only meeting link
What you hear from them Not much — until the invoice A report every week of everything that got done — work Michael checked himself
What they recommend Whatever is on this month's upsell list Only what you need. If you don't need it, he'll tell you
The software Extra subscriptions you pay for and have to learn All of it included — nothing to buy, set up or figure out
How tech savvy you need to be Enough to log in, pull reports and chase answers Not at all. That's my job
How many vendors A website guy, an SEO company, a social media person — each blaming the others One point of contact — every piece of work runs through Michael
When something breaks You find out from a customer Caught in the weekly check and fixed
If you ever leave The site and the data can stay behind You own what we build — site, profile, content, data
Common questions

Straight answers

What does a Website Care Plan actually cover?

Updates to WordPress, your theme and plugins; regular off-site backups and restores; monitoring; and the everyday edits you would rather not make yourself. The exact scope is written down before you start.

Why does a website need updates at all?

It is software, like the apps on your phone. Out-of-date software is one of the most common ways small-business sites get broken into, and updates also keep things working as browsers and phones change.

What happens if my site breaks or gets hacked?

We restore it from a clean backup and get you back online — that is exactly what the backups are for. You hear from us, not from a customer.

Can you take care of a site you didn't build?

Usually, yes. We look it over first and tell you honestly whether it is worth caring for as-is or whether a rebuild would cost you less in the long run.

Who do I talk to when I need a change?

Michael. Call, text or email — the same person every time, who already knows your business.

What does it cost?

It depends on the size of the site and how many changes you usually need. You get the price in writing after a short look at your site — no surprises.
