Two things changed outside the Academy — both worth two minutes
Routine check of the courses this week turned up two changes out in the world that affect what you were told to do. Both are small fixes on your end.
1. There's a hole in the ChatGPT privacy setting we told you to flip.
In *What's Safe to Paste Into ChatGPT*, the settings lesson has you turn off the training toggle on any personal account your team uses for work. That's still the right move. But OpenAI's own documentation says that when you tap the thumbs-up or thumbs-down button on a reply, that whole conversation becomes fair game for improving their models — even on an account you've opted out on.
So on work chats, leave the feedback buttons alone. Only use them on conversations you'd have no problem handing over. Worth checking whether the other tools you use say the same thing.
The lesson and the Vault sheet are both updated.
2. Google removed the Questions & Answers section from business profiles.
If you've been tending the Q&A section on your Google listing, there's nothing left to tend — Google retired it at the end of last year and now writes its own answers instead, pulling from your profile fields, your website and your reviews.
That makes the boring work in the Local SEO course matter more, not less. The services you list, the description you write and the reviews you collect are now what Google reads when a customer asks a question about your business. Fill those in properly and you're feeding the answer. Leave them blank and Google guesses.
To be clear, this is about Google's listings, not the questions you ask on lessons here — those work the same as always.
Nothing else in either course changed.
