Every few weeks the MCM360 Marketing Portal picks up new capability behind the scenes — some of it visible right away, some of it quiet infrastructure that just makes things work better. Here’s what’s new since our last update, in plain English, with no tech jargon required.

Organize Your Customer Records Your Way

The customer records in your portal’s CRM are no longer stuck in one fixed layout. You can now group fields into named sections, put the information you actually use at the top, and hide the fields you never touch. However you arrange it, the layout carries through everywhere — when you add a customer, when you edit one, and when you pull up their profile before a call. And if you ever rearrange yourself into a corner, one click puts everything back to the standard layout.

In plain English: your customer list can now look the way your business works — a plumber’s records can lead with service address and equipment notes instead of fields you never fill in.

A Much Better Calendar for Meetings and Bookings

The meetings calendar in the portal got a full redesign. You can now flip between six views — day, week, month, a simple list, a full year, and a column view that puts each team member side by side — and filter to just the people you want to see. Rescheduling is drag-and-drop: grab an appointment, drop it on the new time, done. It also shows busy time from connected outside calendars, so you’re not double-booking someone around commitments that live in a different calendar. Need to set something up? Click any empty slot and book it right there.

In plain English: one screen now shows who on your team is where, all week — and moving an appointment takes a drag instead of a phone call and three texts.

Your Automations Can Now Summarize and Read Tone

Two new AI-powered steps are available in the portal’s automations. The first takes a long piece of text — a lengthy customer inquiry, a call transcript, a rambling form submission — and boils it down to a short summary automatically. The second reads an incoming message and classifies its tone as positive, neutral, or negative, so your automation can route accordingly: a frustrated message can get flagged for a personal callback right away, while a routine one flows through the normal path.

In plain English: your follow-up system can now notice when a customer sounds unhappy and treat that message differently — before you’ve even read it. Automations are part of the Pro portal; if you don’t see them in yours, ask me about access.

What This Means for You

None of these require anything from you — they’re already in your portal, included in your plan. If you’d like a hand setting up a custom record layout, getting your team onto the new calendar, or putting the new AI steps to work in your follow-up automations, just reach out and we’ll set it up together. Not an MCM360 client yet? The marketing portal is the home base we give every client, and a free audit is the easiest way to see what it would do for your business.
