MCM360 Updates — September 21, 2026
Every week we roll improvements into the MCM360 Marketing Portal — the dashboard our clients use to see their reviews, leads, campaigns, and customer records in one place. Most of these updates land quietly and just start working for you. This week brought three worth calling out, because each one changes something you can actually do at the counter, in the office, or in your follow-up. Here’s what’s new, in plain English.
Your portal now organizes follow-up around what your business actually tracks
Not every business tracks the same things. A groomer keeps track of pets. A detailer keeps track of vehicles. A property crew keeps track of units and addresses. For a while now, your portal has been able to store those custom records alongside your customer list — but they mostly just sat there as reference information.
That changes with this update. Those records are now something you can work with, not just look at. You can update a whole batch of them at once instead of clicking through one at a time. You can connect them to the forms on your website, so when a customer books a bath for Biscuit or a wash for the F-150, the right record gets created or updated automatically. And you can build automated follow-up around them — a reminder when a pet is due for grooming, a check-in when a vehicle hits its next service window, a seasonal touch for every unit on your list.
In plain English: your follow-up can now revolve around the things your business really tracks — pets, vehicles, units, jobs — not just names on a customer list.
You can now manage your own payment connection
If you take payments through your portal, that runs on a connected Stripe account. Until now, if you ever needed to disconnect that account — say you were switching banks, restructuring the business, or closing out an old entity — you had to ask us to do it for you.
Now you can do it yourself, right from your portal settings. Before anything disconnects, you’ll see clear warnings about exactly what’s affected — things like invoices, saved payment methods, and any active payment links — so there are no surprises. It’s your money and your account, and you shouldn’t need to file a request to manage it. Of course, if you’d rather we walk through it with you, we’re still happy to.
In plain English: you’re in the driver’s seat on your own payment setup — disconnect when you need to, with a clear picture of what changes before you confirm.
Collect reviews at the counter, right after the good experience
Here’s the one we’re most excited about. The best moment to ask for a review is the moment a happy customer is standing in front of you — the furnace is fixed, the haircut looks great, the new floors are down and they love them. The problem has always been that by the time a review request lands in their inbox two days later, the moment has passed.
Your portal now has a check-in mode built for exactly that moment. You set up a tablet or a phone at your counter, front desk, or showroom, and when a customer wraps up, they tap in their name and contact info right there. The portal saves them as a contact and automatically sends the review request while the experience is still fresh. No chasing, no copy-and-paste, no sticky note reminding you to follow up. It works just as well at a service counter as it does at a salon desk or a showroom exit.
In plain English: a happy customer can start their review before they’ve even left the building — and your portal handles the rest. Ask me about access.
Questions about any of these?
